Bond Funds And/Or CDs ?

The Finance Buff's Harry Sit makes the case for substituting CDs for
Bond Funds in this article; suspect it's a bit like "preaching to the
choir" for most people on this list but may still include/reinforce
some of your thoughts on this.

Great article. Of course I'm part of the choir and biased since it is what I do for a living. So take my endorsement with a grain and salt and read it for yourself. :O)

I have never had a problem buying CDs to put into our IRA even with our brokerages. Now they make sure they let me know they do not recommend my investment choice and rather me use mutual funds or stocks but they always let me use the CDs I select. Unfortunately, the brokerage CDs are trash at this time. I just hope when it's time to renew, I can find better rates.
