... MSU Federal Credit Union is the world’s largest university-based credit union and is about to get larger.  A merger of the $32.8 million Eaton County Educational Credit Union in Charlotte, Mich., into the $2.3 billion MSU Fed CU in East Lansing will take effect April 1.

When USA Federal CU was merged into Navy Federal Credit Union in late 2010, NavyFed offered a couple of good promotions, including a (low-capped) 5% 1-year CD and a one-time 50 basis point increase in certificate rates.   Perhaps MSU will do the same to welcome Eaton County Educational CU members.
