The Fed Did NOT Revise Its Language About The Outlook For Interest Rates At Its Meeting Today

Wednesday, April 28, 2010 - 2:16 PM
The Fed did NOT revise its language about the outlook for interest rates at its meeting today, again saying it expected to keep rates low for "an extended period." It had been thought that the Fed might loosen that statement a bit, but it did not. Woe be savers.

The Fed did say the economy was improving and empioyment was starting to pick up, but still did not bend at all on its outlook on interest rates.
