How bad have things gotten for millennials?

Their financial situation is so grim that they may never get completely out of debt — in their entire lives.

The real culprit is credit card debt. I disagree. The real culprit is the individual that can't live within their means and purchase items they can't afford. If you can't pay your credit card off in full at the end of the month then you should not make the purchase. Am I supposed to feel sorry for these people? I do not! Unfortunately, I will probably be helping these poor unfortunate souls with higher taxes to support government programs.

I do acknowledge that some people’s debt is unavoidable due to unforeseen circumstances but for the most part credit card debt is self inflicting.
