Rising Rates Carry Different Risks For US Banks

This recent article interviews JPMorgan Chase's new chief risk officer, Ashley Bacon.  He analyzes the differences in risk of rising rates for big and small banks.  Claiming small banks have less risk because they have less investments (I agree with that).  But big banks also have more resources used to hedge and influence the overall economy.  They also have the largest depositors, which in itself, is difficult to gauge the influence of.
