I will give you one reason why he should be selected: he opposes quantitative easing.

Yellen is Bernanke on steroids. With her, you will see QE 3, 4, 5, 6,  et al.

Ok.  It's one and one.  Between the two posts neither one of these two seem like winners for the position so who does that leave us with who might be able to pull us off the cliff?? There has got to be some good news to share about the next Fed leader.  These are certainly stressful times for our country.
