Factors That Will Likely Keep Unemployment Levels From Dropping Over The Next Decade

There are issues facing the American jobs market that will make it difficult for the improvement to continue, particularly when one considers job growth rates and how they relate to labor force participation and population growth.

Remember in the 80's when they were exporting jobs because when the boomers retired we would never have enough people to fill the jobs. We needed to export jobs we were told. Well again it was true until it was proven it wasn't true. Same with those telling us how to invest, how to live etc. Do what makes sense for you. Unemployment will stay high until we have enough stimulus for infrastructure to have enought jobs for people to start buying again. We have such high unemployment that there are so many that will never be able to start buying again because they are  so far in debt because they have been out of a job for so long.

The only thing we have left is slow growth and this will also create more of those that have and those that have not. Large stimulus always worked in the past. Instead only about 1/3 was put to long and short term infrastracture projects, much went for tax breaks, and other gimicks. This is because of the situation in Congress now. We have no one to blame but ourselves because we voted for them or at least some voted for them and others chose to sit out which made those that voted for these people have a stronger voice. And these guys in Congress think they have a mandate.

Let it suffice to say 'right on the mark'.  I don't need to add anything to your summary because my BP rate would just go up into the statosphere just thinking about the current predicament.
