Author of this article could do a lot better by becoming a DA
reader; 0.43% as a best one-year CD rate just doesn't cut it.

I like the article "6 Cities With The Worst 1-Year CD Rates" better.  It really makes me feel good that I'm a DA member and find significantly higher rates thanks to Ken.

Texas seems to have the best deposit/saving deals in all accounts (CD, savings, RCAs, etc.).  One should pay little attention to 1-year CDs, but concentrate on searching for more profitable RCAs (at Ken's site of course).

Anyone else notice that California seems to be "leading from the bottom?"  I can't find any local CD deals anywhere--almost all my current CD's are out of state (and found on this site, thanks, Ken).

And that article is pitiful.  I know someone who works there--I thought she probably researched banks or something, but, no, she telemarkets anyone who clicks on their site.
