Billions Exit Bank Accounts - Banks Will Have To Raise Rates To Maintain Liquidity Ratio....

So says this article and the experts quoted therein.  Might have missed it, but i hadn't seen this statistic about recent deposits outflows until this article.  Let's hope this continues to mean some climbing rates, if only moderate and only for the longer-term stuff for the time being....

I may have overlooked it in the article but what happened to the FED giving the banks all that money at practically zero interest rates?  Has that been discontinued?  That would be the main reason I think the banks would again be going after our deposits.  Maybe there is some hope for savers yet.  I just hope it doesn't send the economy into another tailspin and cause even worse problems for us.
