Mea culpa.  Ken picked this up in his latest cd rates post.  The CD rates table is out-of-date, at least as shown on my computer screen.

Thanks for noting the new rates and the CD rate table being out-of-date. I'm not sure why the table didn't show this change sooner. Nevertheless, the table is now updated.

Does anyone know if GE Capital Bank only does CDs by mail?  I checked their webpage and could not find any branches.  I have used their CDs but bought only through our brokerage.  I notice that the 5 year CD has a 9 month penalty if I am understanding it correctly.  Has anyone had problems purchasing a CD by mail with GE?  Thanks!
