This is frightening.  Yellen is actually making it public that the US is in dire need of help.  That certainly isn't a good sign but at least she is facing her problems realistically by reaching out for help already.

Found a few good signs about Stan Fischer who'll be #2 at the Fed. This is an excerpt describing his work as head of the Israel central bank:
While they were languishing [U.S. and Europe], by September 2009 Fischer was raising interest rates, all but declaring the recession defeated.

#2 Did you read the article?   I would want the best on my team. These are posts that need to be filled. Why would you want someone with no experience or someone that has no track record on your team?
