Could A Traditional IRA Option Be Eliminated?

Although I do think we need to simplify and make less complicated I do like to have the option available of both the traditional and roth.

One of the tax suggestions is to charge those on Medicare higher Medicare premiums when MAGI income is over $47,000 for everyone instead of the $85,000 (for singles)and $170,000 (for couples) in MAGI that it is now. Roth income is not included in MAGI now. Like I have said in other places in this blogs it is what it is until it isn't. Laws can be changed. Maybe having all IRA in Roth's is a good thing for those that will retire in the future if the law doesn't change and start to count it as one of things you have to add back in.
