I don't have LTC and don't intend on purchasing it because of many reasons.  However, I cannot believe that certain of our posters who do have it would have purchased it without knowing everything that is in the link you posted.  I think the link should read "may" not cover it instead of "won't".  What the LTC won't cover they can certainly get on Medicaid by then and won't exactly be thrown out of their nursing homes.  Articles like that never fill in all the blanks and just may frighten many people from getting LTC.

Not sure you read the link by the poster. It did say MAY.  The Marketwatch author wrote "won't".
The first sentence stated the article was about group policy. The article was not about what a individual purchasing a policy.

#2  Good for you for catching the "group" policy.  All I have ever read about are single policies on DA so I took it for granted it was info about that.  I am not interested in LTC so I really did not read the article thoroughly.  The title did peak my couriosity tho as I am sure it was meant to do.
