I kept telling the wife the market was spooky, silly spooky. So I bailed on a tad (well, more than a tad) about two weeks ago as the market hit another irrational, spooky, high. As of today, the amount I cashed out is worth about 1.35% more than had I cashed out the same number of shares today. I'm plunking all those ill-gotten gains in that 15 month 2.5% APY Dime Savings CD. I guess that brings my real rate of return to over 3.85%. Now, that's Bernanke math!
