from (5.12%, $25K) to (4.07%, $25K) today, one of the last two 5% club member ... gone.

The reduced rate is retroactive from 1 March 2011.

Southern Bank is the only 5% club left... count-down begins...

DAMN!!! I have $100k there --- that means I lose $1050 per year in interest.

But in today's environment --- 4.07 is still a pretty fair rate.

However, what troubles me the most is the retroactive deal ---- I am sorry, but i think it is wrong to do that. At least some notice should be given --- instead of nearly a full month at the lower rate.
