CNB Bank Direct - RATE DROPS - To 0.90 APY

 

Terrible news.  One of the leading banks in terms of rates has just dropped their APY to 0.90% as of 12/24/2011.

 

I originally has Emigrant Direct until a few years ago when their rates fell and I switched to CNB BANK Direct.  Now I feel like it is time to find a new savings account.

 

Heck, my Capital One 5x CHECKING account is giving me a better rate at 1.01% (for 1 year) with a minimum $5,000 of new money.  How the heck is my LOCAL CHECKING account giving me a better rate than my ONLINE SAVINGS account?????????  This is Crazy!!
