Vision Bank (TX) RCA rate drops ($25K/3.05%APY) to (25K/2.5%APY) effective 1/17/12, also heads up on ATM debit card use

The bank has continued dropping its rate steadily:

6/2/11 from 4%APY to 3.75%           8/10/11 3.5%          10/20/11 3.05%

As usual, the change has been communicated only via a site update in the "Account Summary" area.   Current accountholders have not received any other notification.  However, Ken’s Bank Alerts feature triggered an Email alert of the change (thanks Ken and Jeremy!).

In other news, the bank will change its ATM card processor as of 1/23/12, which may interrupt the ability to use ATM debit cards.
