'Massive' Credit Card Data Breach Involving All Brands -- Fraudulent Use Now Started

News just now coming out of a major data breach at a credit card processing center, involving all major credit card brands. And fraudulent use by the thieves has now started, one source said. It might involve more than 10 milliion compromised card numbers.

'Massive' credit card data breach involves all major brands - Mar. 30, 2012

Banks across the country are being alerted. 

Report says there might be a link to parking garages in New York City. But it says the fraudulent activity is geographically dispersed. So far, at least 876 cards have been identified as being used for fraudulent charges. 

The breach occurred in late January and early February. But we are only now finding out about it.
