So, do they want us all to go back to carrying cash or paying with personal checks? People may buy less if they can't use their credit or debit cards which will have a backlash on merchants. I know many times I buy more than I planned on buying because I know I can just put it on the card if I don't have enough cash with me. Credit cards really help the merchants to sell more. They should think seriously before putting fees on their use.
