AccessBank Texas is offering an Accessible 9-month CD (0.90% APY) and a 17-month CD (1.30% APY). Both CDs require a $1K minimum deposit, with no balance cap.
The Accessible 9-month CD is so named because it allows for additional deposits after opening AND a one-time penalty free withdrawal per statement period. (AccessBank Texas defines statement period as equal to one earning cycle.)
In addition, there is a promotional 24-month IRA (1.50% APY) that is currently not listed on AccessBank Texas’ website. The IRA also requires a $1K minimum deposit.
According to CSR, the Early Withdrawal Penalty on CDs with terms of less than 24 months is 90 days interest.
