When I was hired on my job 26 years ago, I started using DOCO then, I first had $25.00 going into an account on a monthly basis then when I received a raise, I raised the amount to $50.00 every month. I have a share account (savings) with them. Their customer service is great, you can call them and let them know that you would like to get a withdrawal and they will mail it to you. Just recently, I began to use their website and once I became signed up, the website is really user friendly and you can go on the web site and do just about every thing that you need to do pertaining to your account.
DOCO Credit union is a great place to do business. They're very responsive to their customers and have no monthly fees. There is just a one-time 5 dollar membership fee and a requirement to keep 5 dollars in savings. That's it. Their customer service is very personal and their tellers are very helpful. I can go into any branch and quickly withdraw cash or otherwise perform any function.
I opened an account in December and it was a snap. Opening an account was a snap and I was walked right through every step of the way. It took me less than 10 minutes from the time I walked in to open my account. There are never any long lines at their branches. Telephone service is available during business hours, but unfortunately not after-hours. That's my only real complaint. When I had a problem with my debit card I had to wait an entire weekend to sort it out.
Their internet banking is very bare-bones, and I can't do much more than check my balance and move my money between accounts, but that's really all I need to do so I'm not complaining.
I signed up with DOCO because I needed a new bank and they had no monthly fee checking accounts. I do not regret this. It is a great credit union that really does cater to my needs. The customer service is excellent when the local branch is open. Off hours, they rely on automated service, and don't have 24/7 phone support. But that's okay for my needs. Their NSF fee is $35, which is about standard. This is annoying if you bounce checks, but it's not something that you'd notice otherwise. The local branches are open 9 to 5, and the tellers are very helpful. I've never had any problems making deposits or withdrawals. My only complaint is that there are very long lines on Friday afternoons. Direct deposits are credited next business day, which is also convenient. I know that when I transfer my money, it'll be there tomorrow.
