Mortgage Experts, Great Savings Rates And Easy Access.

My family and I have several savings accounts as well as a First Mortgage and just opened a savings account with a great rate over 4%. Easy online application. Fully digital experience allows us access whenever we need to 24/7. Nice people Five Stars!

Great Rates And Service

I recently opened a high yield savings account with Quorum. The process was easy, online banking is comprehensive and the rate and service were fantastic!

Very Disappointing

I went online to apply to this bank for a CD option. I receive no reply over the last week so I called and was told that my application has been rejected. There is no reason for this when I pay everything on time and have a decent amount of money to put in an Certificate Deposit. I’m glad now tho

Worst Experience Ever - Just Bizarre

Like another reviewer, I filled out an application to open an account so I could purchase a CD and a week later received a denial letter. I have never, ever been denied credit. I called to find out why and after two hang ups and several long waits, was told the underwriters didn't divulge that info. I then logged into my account with the credit agency they supposed used and found nothing that would lead to denial of opening an account. Then the next day, I received a welcome letter to log into "my" account where I found "my" account number. I then tried to purchase a CD on line with no luck. The website is very confusing. I spoke with a very nice woman who tried but couldn't lead me through the website to purchase a CD and told me someone would call me back. Through trial and error, I figured out to purchase a CD, you click on checking/savings accounts. By this time, though, I have absolutely no faith in this chaotic, unprofessional company - I'M OUT. Will be calling to cancel my account.

Declined!!!

I submitted an online application for a 3 yr cd which was easy as pie. After 2 days, I called in just to get a status as to when the account would be funded. The customer service rep told me that my application was declined but he gave no explanation other than to say I'd receive a detailed letter in the mail. Having no idea what their criteria is for acceptance, I can say in all my life, I've never had an application rejected from any credit union or other financial institution. I maintain a credit score of 815 and have zero blemishes anywhere. To say I'm a bit perplexed is a massive understatement.

Impossible To Get Them On The Phone

Not enough customer service reps. Held on phone for more than 20 minutes. Finally hung up.

Beware Credit Check

Quorum runs a hard pull credit check against new member applicants, according to an email received. Think about that when applying to be a depositor member. There is no requirement in regulation that your credit score should be dinged so visibly flashing a yellow light! I was in the business of writing credit union laws and do not appreciate that extra ("security") negativity.

Quorum Difficult, Cancelled My Deposit

Opened money mkt account, linked a bank account, tried to transfer funds, they cancelled my transfer. Then, they needed a copy of my bank stmt from the transfer account. Supplied that, now they are "reaching out" to the bank, I guess to confirm I didn't provide a phony bank statement. All of this so I can deposit funds INTO their institution. SO LUCKY I'm not trying to borrow from them. Imagine that.

Don't Just Run, Run And HIDE!

I have never experience anything like it...Signed a contract for a set amount of Interest, only to be charge 1.5% higher! Then EVERY principle payment I made went to INTEREST.
I called and after 45 minutes on hold and being shifted to 3 different people I was told I had to specify I wanted my payment to go to PRINCIPLE. Really, duh, you think? You think I didn't do that?Like I want to pay extra interest, who does that?
I refinanced and got out after one year, but I had made extra payments the whole time, MY PRINCIPLE NEVER WENT DOWN....As soon as I paid off account they LOCKED ME OUT, I can't get any statements for taxes! These people are CROOKS. I wrote them a letter asking them for an itemized list of all payments and how they applied them.....They never responded, so I am now sending a formal complaint to the NCUA, the State Regulators and the BBB. I just wonder how many more people they are ripping off.
