I submitted my application and initial deposit 3 weeks ago and I still can't use the account.
Filling out the initial application to open an account is quick and simple....Then everything slows down to a snails pace.
I got an immediate response that they received my application, and the next day I was notified that my application was approved. I was told I would be sent a packet of documents I needed to sign and return within 30 days or my account would be closed.
A few days later (Saturday) I received my packet with two documents... I signed them and sent them off on the following Monday. I attempted to get in touch with the customer service rep via email but received an out-of-office reply? I tried to call the next day and the man i spoke with told me that she would get back with me next week...Monday or Tuesday? She did contact me the following Tuesday and said that she got my signed documents and corrected an error in my address, was processing my initial deposit and ordered my Debit Card. She also told me how to setup my Internet access, but failed to tell me the required Security Code? So I had to write her back and wait for her to email me the Security Code.
It's been over a week and my initial deposit finally appeared on my account as still Pending?
I cannot move any money into my new account until I get my Debit card...Don't want to put any money in unless I have the means to take it out. Also they have a 30 day delay on Remote Deposits for new accounts, but I don't know where they count the 30 days from...approved application date or when the Customer Service Rep officially activates your account???
In the end, it will probably take 2-3 months before I will get my Debit Card, set up Direct Deposit and move money into my account...and with the holidays, I suspect it might even be longer !
I will update this review when I finally get my account completely up and running and can comment on how long it takes them to post debit and credit transactions to my online account and process Remote Deposits....This is a critical requirement for Online banking !
