I had unfortunate experience in applying online about May 15. Application stopped partway & stated I needed to call in or visit branch. From California, that meant phone.
I emailed all required information to a phone rep by May 17 & he confirmed arrival & completion, stating he'd send application upstairs for final OK. He assured me I'd get it within week.
Yesterday eve I hadn't heard anything, so both emailed phone rep & sent email from First Service Bank website.
Within that week bank decided to close ALL applications from out of state! Mine bounced as part of new policy.

Wish I was told before taking time & sending all that confidential info. I did ask if I could be "grandfathered" in as my application was completed before change in policy. I got return email that "compliance team & a supervisor will be reaching out" to me soon, probably explaining the impossibility of that.
If I'm wrong & there IS a chink in their armor, I'll report back to y'all.
