BoH OMMA Rate Went Down On 2024Dec19 To APR 4.736% (APY 4.85%) while BoH website still shows APY 5.10%.

I've posted this earlier elsewhere, but remind this here, because some DA users are confused by the BoH website is still showing APY 5.10%.

The correct APY is 4.85% and it is the same for old and new customers.

If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, it continues to show the APY as 5.10%. However, you can no longer apply for an account - it states "check back later." So they've probably been inundated with applications and, like Patriot Bank just did, suspended opening new accounts until further notice.The same thing will likely happen with Zynlo Bank before too long, now that it's the last 5% bank standing. Call it "the DA effect"

Thanks I was wondering what the current rate is. My guess is that FIA(Ford Interest Advantage) will soon be the top rate at 4.91% APY with the FED looking to be on hold now.

BoH interest rate went down to 4.45%. Simultaneously, external fund transfers became no longer possible.

APY is 4.55%
External Transfer function still there, but nobody should care because of the limitations.
