Yeah well,
this CD's been available since November, so...
..so much for the 'Limited Time'.

Been waiting for 3 days for reply to 2 emails, no answer. I was going to call but I see it's a waste of time. Guess they can't handle all the people requesting new accounts. Looks like a no go on this one.

No callbacks and unable to get through to customer service via phone. I feel sorry for current customers of they need assistance with a problem

After you posted these comments were you able to open an account with Clearpath?

Forgot I tried in November

Their site says "limited time" so why posted that statement.
I was able to contact them directly yesterday instantly.
Today , had to wait for 15 minutes (automatic callback). CD opened.
I love when people look at past comments and post them. Kinda funny how you guys can be so anal.

@Rickny; Ha-ha yeah; when you're posting on a blog that primarily hosts people saving money, you might come across a few a***-retentive individuals (I think that's the word you got censored). Didn't have funds available 'til late last month, so I wasn't rushing same as most; but things did run smoothly call-wise earlier this month when I finally got everything finished up with membership, CD opening, etc. I AM pretty surprised it's lasted this long..glad you managed to get in as well.

@IGR; Not really...yes, ClearPath does review Chexsystems; but without too much scrutiny if you're just opening a Shared Savings and CD. But if you're looking for a checking account as well, that report is inspected fairly intensely. All I can say is that it would take some SERIOUS bank account abuse on a Chexsystems report to be told you failed membership on just a savings & CD.

I too, had an application issue that delayed everything by about a week, but that was due to the stupid verification questions. Sometimes these bank systems/technologies can't get stuff right the first time and we consumers suffer for it.  Now the real question becomes; 
Who's gonna try out that Security State Bank of Kansas 12 mnth 5% CD?
