CIT had been offering to bump their rate up to 4.75% on request. I got that rate a month ago. This week my rate dropped to 4.50%. Same for everyone else or do they just dislike me?

It's just you. Obviously they don't like you.

Seriously, why bother...4.5% is not that hard to get (without hoops & ladders);
especially if you're a regular on this website...

They have the $300 bonus on 50k deposits or $225 on 25k deposit.

While the CIT Bank promo bump rate dropped slightly, 4.50% is still a strong rate that can benefit savers looking for a reliable way to grow their money. It's a solid option for those seeking a safe and competitive return!
