Significant decrease regarding Morgan Stanley Bank 3-yr (3.75%), 4-yr (3.80%), and 5-yr (3.80%) non-callable, new issue brokered CD rates offered today, 4/8/2025, at Vanguard and Fidelity. On 4/3/2025, Morgan Stanley Bank rates were 3-yr (4.05%), 4-yr (4.05%) and 5-yr (4.05%).

Is anybody else watching the yield rise on the 10 year treasury tonight? 11 pm ET 4.365%, 11:25 pm ET 4.407%, 12:00 am ET 4.49% peak.

And oil prices are at $57.56 (-$2.02) (-3.39%) last seen on Feb 1 2021. I would typically expect them to move in the same direction under normal circumstances. So the markets are spooked, and who is to blame them.
