Kirkland (or anyone who has a Schwab brokerage account), out of curiosity, what is the current rate offered at Schwab for the Bank of America, NA, 1-year (maturity date: 4/30/2026) non-callable, new issue brokered CD?

As of 2:45 pm ET 4/23/2025, at Vanguard the rate is listed as 4.00%, yet at Fidelity the rate is listed as 3.95%. Somewhat unusual to see what is apparently the same, non-callable, new issue brokered CD being offered at different rates by Vanguard and Fidelity.

Update: I just noticed at 3:30 pm ET 4/23/2025, Fidelity now lists the Bank of America, NA, 1-year (maturity date: 4/30/2026) non-callable, new issue brokered CD at 4.00%, the same rate as Vanguard.

RichardW, I noticed that Fidelity has the Bank of America CA,NA at 3.95% and the Bank of America NA at 4%. There are 2 different FDIC certificate numbers maybe similar to the brokered CD's i see from Morgan Stanley and Morgan Stanley Private Bank? Not sure

txFish1, are you sure you saw “Bank of America CA NA”, listed at 3.95% on Fidelity? At 4:00 pm ET 4/23/2025, Fidelity listed the “Bank of America CA NA”, 1-year (maturity date: 4/30/2026) non-callable, new issue brokered CD at 3.90%.

You are correct, “Bank of America NA” (FDIC# 3510) and “Bank of America CA NA” (FDIC# 25178) are two different FDIC registered banks, similar to the FDIC situation for Morgan Stanley Bank and Morgan Stanley Private Bank.

RichardW, my bad it was a typo as I meant 3.90 not 3.95 on the Bank of America CA NA.
