Got an email from Hughes FCU. Jumbo CD rates for 99k minimum deposit:

17 Month - 4.5%

30 Month - 4.34%

Nice APYs! Appreciate the post. But:

Tried to join Hughes a while back with no luck. It was one of four CUs that turned me away at the time on account of ChexSystems.

I have a very long ChexSystems report and they let me join a year or so ago. I have a 17 month Jumbo amd a "mini" Jumbo with them. No rhyme or reason sometimes with CU's and ChexSystems.

If you are married, maybe the spouse can join.

Am happy you were successful. My own ChexSystems report runs roughly 25 pages . . . at least. If your report is that long, and you still got in, I'm surely feeling discriminated against.

I believe mine was over 30 pages. I was turned down by Langley by ChexSystems.  Had problems with Keybank but they allowed me yo open an account.

They also have a 17 month CD @4.45% 50k min.
