Dollar Savings Direct And My Savings Direct Both Plunge Savings Rates To 3.75%

Both Dollar Savings Direct and My Savings Direct (parts of Emigrant Bank) plunged their savings rates from 4.15 and 4.10 -> 3.75% for both. Certainly no need for them to lower a day-by-day savings rate now except for pure greed, the Fed did not lower rates.

The previous APY for DSD was 4.00%, not 4.15%. I don't think it was ever 4.15% in the recent past. It went down from 5.00% to 4.85% in Sep 2024, to 4.50% in Nov 2024, and to 4.00% in Dec 2024.

stathis66 you could be right, I was trying to remember if it was previously 4.00 & 4.05 or 4.10 & 4.15... but regardless both dropped down to 3.75 now for no reason at all for the drop (of a day-to-day savings account rate) except greed.
