But it by no means involves "easy membershiip". It may be "easy" for many people, and may be impossible for those who do not accept the divinity of Jesus of Nazareth. That's a whole lot of people.

Easy Membership for some; impossible for many (including some Christians).

Their exclusivity doesn't jibe with their vow, "We believe that every person is to be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity, and that hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed towards any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture nor the spirit of our calling as a Christian organization."

Not sure why their agreement is much of a controversy. If it offends your beliefs, don't join. If you have no beliefs and wish to take advantage of the deal, then sign the pledge. I am sure they are not going to to do a background check on you.
