Northern Bank Direct is currently offering a 9 month 4.50% CD. They also have a 6 month 4.00% CD. The rates on all their other CD terms are only 3.50%. All Northern Bank Direct CDs have a $500 minimum.

Love Northern Bank Direct, great customer service. The rate is good for this CD but watch out for the EWP 6M interest.

I have a MMA account and have had several CDs previously. Today their new updated website crashed repeatedly after the starting of the CD application when I uploaded my license. Just sent them a message to see how to sort this out

Here’s some helpful info. Select fill out form rather than upload photos. My application worked with the latter, crashed with the former. Check your email rather than SMS for the authorization code. Finally, you don’t have to select Plaid to fund the CD. Just close the page and fund it through your existing savings account via secured message or mail a check. You have 30 days to fund the CD
