I originally opened an account because it was the closest bank to my new home. Opening an account was a pleasant experience. I have had this checking account for almost twenty years. Harleysville Bank has not made any errors in all of this time. I also have a combination ATM/debit card. This makes it convenient to withdraw cash. I currently have an over 55 account. This account offers free checks and a little bit of interest. I am thinking about moving money to a CD to get a higher interest rate. I usually use the drive through for teller services. I don't usually have to wait for long to reach the teller. Harleysville Bank has an attractive customer appreciation event on a Saturday afternoon in August each year. This event features free food and games. They also gave away free t-shirts.

Harleysville Savings Bank Is The Best Neighborhood Bank.

We have been with Harleysville Savings Bank for 20 years and I recommend them for their care and concern.  I had a transaction that was a surprise and they forgave the fees for something that was not my fault.  While they operate with integrity, they understand that sometimes things happen and need forgiveness.

7 Years Of Banking With Them

Never once have i had an issue while banking with harleysville savings bank in the 7 years iv been with them. Loved everything about the branch until today when i experienced such bad customer service from the assistant manager and the branch manager from the branch in summney town to the point of getting to be so bad that its making me switch banks. Never again will i recommend anyone to this bank. Could not believe the way a client of 7 years was treated by not only the assistant manager but also the branch manager. Not an understanding bank at all with someone who is struggling to get back on their feet after months of surgeries and months of being out of work with no income and then hitting ne with over $200 of fees in 2 days then not doing anything about it to help me out except take money i don't have yet with just getting back to work. Thankyou for making depression and anxiety hit me the hardest it ever has.
