Someone Compermised Our Account

We had a company compromise our account twice which caused problems because then my bills bounced. I didn't know about this until I received a call from the bank saying they were closing my account down. Too many fees. I called and tried to explain that we were customers for a very long time and that this has never happened before, but the lady said she talked to the other managers in area and decided that this was for the best, and would not help us out.

Not So Great Anymore

Recent changes to the Westmark website which include limiting password length and characters used has me wondering if it is wise to stay with them. I question their website security. They also recently changed my PIN without my approval. Now the assigned PIN is hardcoded into the card and shipped through the mail already activated. As I see it, shipping an already activated card through the USPS puts my finances in jeopardy. ANY loss along the way, be it from an accidental mishandling of mail or someone pilfering my mailbox, would have caused great financial harm. It also takes a significant amount of time for a check to clear the bank. Even some credit transactions take quite a while.

Think twice before using this financial institution.
