5.59% 60-Month / 5.54% 36-Month CD at a Florida CU (CFE)

CFE Federal Credit Union continues to offer competitive CD rates. The highest rate is a 5.59% APY for a 60-month term. Other rates include 5.54% for 36 to 59 months, 5.48% APY for 24 to 35 months and 5.43% APY for 12 to 23 months. These same rates are also available in IRA certificates. The minimum deposit is $1,000. These rates have remained competitive since my last report on this credit union in March.

Field of membership includes those who live, work, worship, volunteer or attend school in the Florida counties of Orange, Osceola, Seminole, or Lake. Membership requires a $5 minimum deposit into the share savings account and a $10 one-time membership fee.

Branches are located in Apopka, Orlando, Forest City, Kissimmee, Leesburg, Sanford, and Winter Garden. The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 1976). It's a large credit union with over $1.1 billion in assets and 114,980 members.
