DuPont Community Credit Union has two competitive short-term certificate rates: 3.71% APY for a 6-month term and 3.76% APY for a 12-month term. The minimum deposit is $500. These rates require that you have their Grow Green High Yield Checking. This is a reward checking account with a top yield of 3.50% APY if the typical reward checking requirements are met. It has no monthly fees or minimum balance requirements.

Membership is open to those who live, work, worship or attend school in any of the following Virginia counties or cities: Augusta, Rockingham, Rockbridge, Highland, Bath, Shenandoah, Waynesboro, Staunton, Harrisonburg, Lexington and Buena Vista. Membership requires a minimum balance of $25 in the share savings account.

Branches are located in the Virginia cities of Harrisonburg, Staunton, Stuarts Draft, Verona, Waynesboro and Woodstock. The credit union is federally insured by the NCUA (Charter # 62474). It has $592.0 million in assets and 52,847 members.
