Top Long-Term CD Rates at CEF Credit Union in IL & CA - Local Only
CEF Credit Union continues to offer competitive long-term CD rates. For regular certificates these include a 3.15% APY 60-month CD, a 3.00% APY 48-month CD and a 2.60% APY 36-month CD. Minimum deposit is $1,000. An extra 0.10% is added for Jumbo certificates with a $100,000 minimum. These rates are listed at the credit union's rate table as of 4/28/2010. These are also listed at Valley Credit Union's rate table. Valley Credit Union was a California credit union that was merged into CEFCU with help from the NCUA. It's now a division of CEFCU.
CEFCU CDs are also available in Traditional and Roth Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) and Coverdell Education Savings Accounts (ESAs).
