To all the dishearted individuals above check out Pelican State Credit Union. They off 5.01% for up to $30,000 per account.  You can have numerous accounts.  My husband and I each have 3 accounts.  This is a checking account.  You must agree to receive online statements, set up one payroll deduction or have one direct deposit and perform at least 15 debit card purchases per month.  That all there is too it!
