New Fee At Bank Ofamerica

We all have been warned that new fees were to come about, but when I checked my monthly statement (paper), I was surprised to see a fee that I've never seen before. There was a $3.00 charge for " Check Image Service Fee".

They still have to keep an image on file regardless.

I never saw any notice of this possible charge on past statements. So, I called and inquired. I was told notice was given back in September & October.  Well, bottom line, they gave me a credit for the $3 and I had them stop sending a photo image of any checks with future statements so this charge will not pop up again. I only wrote one check last month. Most were on line payments.

FYI, I've always kept enough on deposit to avoid monthly fees.
