1. Thursday, May 5, 2011 - 4:32 PMThey never did seem to heavily advertise their new "HSBC Advance" name. I wonder if they're losing their interest (no pun intended) in offering an online savings account. If they were serious about the online savings account market, you would think they would at least keep the rate even to ING Direct's Orange Savings.

Now, HSBC Advance ("HSBC Retreat" would be a more appropriate name) has just lowered their rate to a measly .80%!
Instead of keeping my money in an online savings account which pays so little, I'm better off keeping my money under my mattress!
