We have had accounts with Telco/Avadian for MANY years. They put a branch in our community a few years ago which made it much more convenient to use on a regular basis.
Because I couldn't go due to illness, one of the employees volunteered to personally go to a nearby bank to pick up a check needed to complete a transaction for me.
I have not had any bad experiences with them.
We have used Avadian/Alabama Telco for a veryyyyy long time. Amazing team - love everything about this bank. When I ever have any issues they are very quick in helping us to figure it out.
Avadian Gardendale Branch Manager ***Karen*** was very rude and racist towards me management basically cosigned with this clown. THERE BANK practices are not all set up for people of color do not go here if you are black. MANAGEMENT HAS YET TO respond to situation regarding her on 12.15.23 she basically profile regarding loans and day to day services she needs to be fired asap
Originally I had not left good reviews about this bank, but they have gone above and beyond to correct all issues. We have decided to remain at this bank because we have been here for a very long time and they have remedied everything. Thank you Avadian for coming through for us!
If there was a zero star option, that’s what I’d give. Financed my car with Avadian and it has been a 5 year headache. Could never get on line option to work, system would not let me change my password, no one in the company could ever help. I was not given the option to choose my payment date. I have to call in every month to make payment. One month I typed in 307.00 instead of 307.33 on the phone and they reported two months worth of late payments on my credit report. I called to try and get them to fix and they refused. Said I didn’t make the “full” payment the first month, then denied reporting me as late the second month even though it is plain as day on my credit report. I was told that I had to gather all of my evidence and send my case into them and they’d “look into it”. Trying to get payoff but the amount that they are giving me is the same amount it was 3 months ago and 2 payments have been made since then.
I’ve never in my life dealt with such an unorganized, inefficient company, lacking in any form of customer service.
What a horrible place to do banking.
I had a car loan, credit card, checking and savings with this company for about 3 years. I would advise everyone to stay far far away. If I could give zero stars I would.
Keep looking this isn’t the place to trust financially.
They doubled my car loan payments 3 times for cpi insurance when I never had a gap in coverage. Then locked my checking account because I had direct deposit and would not unlocked it until they had stolen all of the money they claimed I owed. Finally I terminated all business dealings with them. If this has happened to anyone else I have documented proof and I’m willing to join in on any class action lawsuits. Contact me.
Be blessed!
