I love using Bank Midwest! My tellers know me personally, they call me by name, and provide services that I wouldn't get elsewhere. I'm handicapped, so when it is necessary to go into the bank itself they offer assistance to make sure I get there. I'm not charged for checking, I make bare usage of their products, but they always ask if I need anything else. I wouldn't change from Bank Midwest.
I have banked here for years and when I needed them to give me time to figure things out they were not willing. I had an account open for my sons child support and it had not had a deposit in savings or checking in a while. They emailed me one morning stating that I needed to call them so I did. They informed me that they were going to close my accounts within hours and that I needed to come in and make a deposit for both to keep it open. If you receive child support you know how hard it can be to switch things. Anyway I told them I lived to far away and asked if they could give me more time. The answer was no. So I let them close my accounts. I have everything figured out with child support but I figured they would have given me more time. I was not happy with the way they handled things. I will never bank there again.
