I pulled my accounts from another Kansas bank due to decreasing rates and poor customer service and decided to give Plains State Bank a try. I was not referred by anyone and didn't know anyone with an account there, but their interest rates were good and I liked that they were based within Kansas. I went to the Hutchinson branch and their exceptional customer service showed from the moment I walked in the door. My accounts were opened by Cadey and she was friendly and proficient at her work. While I was there, several employees stopped by and said hello and I even talked with their bank President. I'm happy with their rates and their exceptional customer service. Their website and bill pay are easy to navigate through and I like the fact that you can transfer money outside of their bank to other financial institutions. I hope that their focus on customer service and their great rates continue!
