Not sure if the reviews here are about Bridge Credit Union in Columbus or not...there are many Bridge CU on the web, so perhaps they posted to the wrong Credit Union.
I say this as the comments do not seem to reflect what I know about Bridge. Hours are better then banks, 8am-4pm in Columbus and 9am-5:30pm in Dayton. Yes they are closed weekends, but they have a great mobile app, great online banking and are part of a large shared branch program. I find their fees are normally very low if not the lowest, and if you have card issues after hours, I call their VISA hotline.
I can't imagine more friendly tellers at the teller line, and their loan officers are great! They have great products to offer also. My favorite thing about Bridge CU is their people! They work for me!!
I switched to Bridge from the largest credit union in Columbus. The other credit union opened their charter to all communities which is nice in theory... but they lost sight of what mattered most, the members.
Bridge Credit Union not only says the members matter most but they live it everyday. They don't charge fees for everything. As larger credit unions charge fees for just having a savings account Bridge Credit Union does not. Bridge Credit Union stands out in the crowd as a credit union that truly cares. They offer personalized one-on-one care for all members whether you are rebuilding your credit, starting a family, everyday needs, or planning for retirement.
The staff is always down to earth, professional, and kind. I feel lucky to be a Bridge member. They offer all the top technology options with my account. I can access my account anywhere and anytime. I would recommend Bridge (and have) to my family and friends. Keep up the great work!
This credit union is very inconvenient when it comes to their hours. They are open Monday-Friday 9-4 only. If anything were to happen to you, like a declined debit card and you need assistance after those hours, you are out of luck. there is no 24 hour emergency assistance number; no one to speak to at all, outside of those hours. Also only having one location period is inconvenient also.
I also lost my debit card and it took them over 30 days to send me a new card. Told me it was going to take long because the new chips that are going into the cards. I finally received my card, and guess what? NO CHIP.. I would not recommend this place for your main financial institution.
