I came across this site on a google search and wanted to talk a bit about my experience with Chief. I have been a member since 1997! I have never been hit with any nonsense fees, and even when my deposit did not arrive on time they were kind enough to refund a NSF fee for me when I explained the situation to them. I have had many auto and signature loans through them and I would not think of going anywhere else with the service that I get every time I walk into the door. My checking account even pays me back as long as I meet some easy qualifications! I have never had anyone be rude to me when I have done any of my banking needs, and I tell all of my friends and family that they should use Chief Financial too!
Whether banking online or speaking with a Chief employee, fantastic experience. Very patient and helpful; I would highly recommend Chief to anyone looking for great rates and great people. Added plus is the community involvement - wonderful to see a business giving back so much to the local community
I became a member searching online for a credit union in the area. They have hundreds of five star ratings on Google. You can see why. Great service, great rates, great technology. They're like family!
5% interest on checking account, can't be beat!!
I've been a member at Chief for years and have had nothing but wonderful experiences. I usually call once a week to keep updated on my account and those girls that answer the phones are always so helpful and sweet. They answer all the questions I have and even give me information about products they offer that I didn't know they had. I will be a member for life!
Products with rates that are second to none, both on loans and deposits. Every time I interact with Chief Financial Credit Union their employees are courteous, approachable, and professional. I was referred by a family member, and am so happy I joined! Lifelong member!
I was talking to Lucy at the Rochester Branch. She told me I would be banned from using the online service because it took the financial team 2 hours to figure out where the ACH transaction went. The money for the loan was taken out of my bank. She never apologized, she was rude and unhelpful. I asked to leave a message for the financial manger which is Ashley Ritzel (so I was told) I was on hold music for 15 minutes and no one ever came back on the line and I was not connected. I have never been treated so poorly. I can't even rate the kind of CS I received. I work in the same industry and you should bend over backwards to help the customer and certainly not threaten them. I would like to see if I get a response. Doubt it. They don't care about their customers.
