I first started using this credit union through my future husband's employer. It was where he could go and cash his checks. With them, we have gotten great ideas on how to grow our money with CDs and money market accounts. They are really active in our community with fundraising. They have many locations around our area, and no matter where we go, they are so friendly and care about their customers. It is always nice to say how well they do when things are going well, but they also are accommodating when things are going badly. They have been there with savings plans for the kids and planning for college as well. They are always willing to show us how to make our money grow for us, which is something we don't know much about and we can trust them wholeheartedly.
Had a really good experience with CFCU! Thank you all for your great service!

If I could give them one star I would. I am absolutely appalled at how I was treated by this company. They deducted over $600 from my account without even contacting or asking me. They refused to give me the full amount back and offered me a $25 gift card instead. They care about the money more than their customers. I have been with them for over 5 years now. Don’t waste your time because they certainly will never appreciate or respect yours. Even the CFO of this company refused to help, absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable for them to steel from their customers. They will also judge you for how you spend your money. The customer service woman I first talked to yesterday made a remark about all my transactions. ITS MY MONEY NOT YOURS. Don’t even waste your time. I will NEVER be coming back and I will also share my extremely negative experience with others. Apparently my business is worth less than $600 to them.
I wish I could give negative stars! I never write reviews, but I feel that if I can help just one unsuspecting potential customer from going to this horrible credit union, it’s worth the time. I will never do business with this establishment again! After 15 years with them I have now refinanced my mortgage & vehicle with another credit union and I closed my accounts. They have many hidden fees and customer service is non existent. Just before closing my accounts I called in on a small issue which took four call backs to finally be told by a customer service manager that because I do not have a large sum of money in my account that frankly I do not deserve the type of customer service that someone bringing more money into this credit union would receive. I’ve had small issues with them throughout the years I was with them, but ultimately decided it wasn’t worth moving all of my loans and mortgage to another establishment. After this last issue and the way I was talked down to by a customer service manager, I am warning everyone to steer clear of this credit union! If you are with them, I hope you never have to call in with any issues as they will not even pretend to be helpful.
I am not one to write reviews, however, I just quickly wanted to note that this is such a horrible credit union. Their employees are rude, customer service stinks, and they stick you with so many fees and then LOVE not telling you about them. SO UNBELIEVABLE! I cannot WAIT until my loan is paid off so I can be done with them forever!!!!
I recently received a statement through my local credit union stating I had a rejection on a direct deposit. When I went to inquire about the rejected direct deposit they told me it was an issue with the other party. I contacted the other party and found out that there was no problem with the deposit and that it had been processed. I called my credit union and talked to a representitve and she said that it was human error and that it was rejected by a computer gliche. I still have not come to a conclusion and had the money deposited in my account to to finding the accountability of who is at fault and in that time I had overdrafted my account by default and had to take responsibility. I currently am paying off my overdraft and changing banks.
