About 3 years ago, this little credit union came to my neighborhood in Meridian Idaho. I went in and talked to them, and within a few minutes, I figured out that they were impressive. I quickly cancelled my account at my other credit union and have moved everything over to Connections. They are friendly, helpful and treat me like I am their only customer. Even when the lobby is full of other people, they go out of their way to say hi. My wife even got one of her photographs in their yearly calendar. They are part of the community and I recommend everyone that I talk to, to move over to Connections. They have my business for as long as they want it!
"Beginning on November 1, 2020 the following changes will occur:
• Below “Cap” Rate: Will change from 2.50% to 2.00% APY
• Above “Cap” Rate” Will change from 0.25% to 0.15% APY
All other criteria set forth in...disclosure agreement for this account continue to apply."
If you like to get your Deposits, tax returns, stimulus etc. When everybody else does this is not the bank for you they will hold your money as long as they can, switching banks soon!!!
Since the merger, customer service went from first to worst. They won't even return phone calls and they have shady loan practices. Leaving after 50 years. Goodbye and good riddance.
Having been a member in Pocatello for over a year, problems began with the involuntary switch of all debit cards from the Credit Union destroying all our autopay accounts. It took months to finally clear that up.
Finally, multiple attempts of using the credit card with a firm in Canada…all failed due to the possibility of fraud. In spite of my repeated contact with them they could not clear their problem. I told them they had no reason to suspect fraud for the largest custom clothier in North America.
They simply do not know what they are doing from one branch to another or in the arrangement with their debit card provider…..in blaming them for problems the credit union certainly owns. Their delays in fixing their problems have cost me $200 in otherwise discounted purchases that have now expired.
We are now in the process of setting up accounts elsewhere, being quite assured that the inconvenience will be no greater than what we have experienced at this CU.
