Great Customer Service but Products Could Use Improvement

I have been with Credit Human since it was San Antonio Federal Credit Union ("SACU"). The customer service has always been great. I prefer to go to a branch in person because they do not -- or at least did not at one time -- have 24/7 customer service by phone, which was frustrating. The employees treat customers well and go above and beyond the service of a typical financial institution.

My problem with Credit Human involves trying to set up online transfers. For security purposes, checking account numbers do not appear on monthly statements. Basically, the savings account number is the default. But my type of account limits the number of transfers to savings before a fee is incurred. When I tried to establish transfers from a company for which I do contract work, that company required a copy of a monthly statement. Since I had no proof of my checking account number on my statement, a Credit Human representative had to type up a letter (on their letterhead) verifying my checking account number. It was a convoluted process that I have never had to go through with other credit unions or banks. I understand the need for security, but there should be a more direct and convenient way to set up such things. Still, I'll stick with Credit Human. It feels like I have a relationship with them.

It is very frustrating banking with this facility ; because of this bank my credit score has dropped because they keep losing my account info with my ach payments , which causes my payments to be reversed , making them late . I don ' t appreciate this at all .
I switched to this bank because my account had been compromised at another bank; I may have to re - think my decision ; unless this changes .

Terrible Customer Service

I am on the verge of switching banks. I keep getting fraudulent activity alerts on my account, in spite of the fact that none of the charges you allege are even on my record of withdrawal (affecting my ability to file a fraud claim). They also sent me a new debit card a week later with only 14 digits on it and claimed a misprinting. To add insult to injury, the company didn't even have the decency to expedite a new debit card. It's been over a week and I still don't have a new debit card, and I have bills that are coming up. Truly terrible experience.

Worst Experience

Horrible experience for elderly and Power of Attorney agents. I have been granted power of attorney and have followed their process to get the POA submitted, along with the Certification of POA by Agent. Both of these documents have been filled out, signed and notarized. It took 3 weeks of constant calling, Aug 30-Sept 20, to get this approved by a supervisor, and Margot H was never available to speak to, after being the person to communicate via email. I can tell you I spoke to Ava, Brenda, Claudia, Ava again, Pearl, and none of them were able to accelerate or help with this process. I was told I would get a call back, and never did. I was finally able to get access. Now yesterday and today, 10/4 and 10/5, I have tried to accomplish bank business, and I have been told that I have to go to a branch and provide another Certification of POA by Agent, and I have to do this EVERY TIME I need to do bank business. I am 300+ miles away from a branch, and my first Certification is not accepted even though a POA is drafted in perpetuity until revoked. This is the worst bank experience ever, and I am so glad that I personally am with USAA, I only wish my parent-in-laws were not with Credit Human.

My elderly mother in law has had nothing but Hell since SACU changed to credit human! They have consistently suspended her card saying fraudulent activity. Back in July she went on a trip and get credit card was declined. She uses her credit card for everything as this her only way she buys stuff. They told her that next time she takes a trip, just to call them. Well she just went on a trip this month and She called and they said no it is not necessary to call and then first charge she made on account was declined. Now she cannot even use the card at all. This bank should be ashamed of the terrible service. I am so glad I moved banks before all this happened.

There is NO DIRECT NUMBER TO ANY BANK! Only a number that connects you to an 800 number which they take on average of 2 HOURS TO ANSWER!!! This is NOT customer service and they do not care about any of their customers! You have to jump through hoops just to pay a simple loan from another bank... then you are back on the phone for HOURS just trying to figure out if your payment went through! I'm going to NAVY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION as soon as I can with my new loan! They answer as soon as you find the department you want and if you can't figure it out you can get partly to a department and hit 0 to find an assistant to help you! If I want to call a specific bank I can! It is VERY EASY to pay your loans and transfer money! I'm DISGUSTED with CREDIT HUMAN & it will NEVER be recommended!!!!

Horrible Customer Service

I'm pretty much fed up with Credit Human for numerous reasons. If you're thinking of joining a good credit union in San Antonio, I STRONGLY suggest that you DON'T go to Credit Human.

My mother has been a member of this Bank for twenty two years; she is also disabled. Each month this bank charges my mom from 200-300 dollars in late fees. I believe they are abusing her through this practice, and every time I call they will not give me the general manager's number.
