Day Air Credit Union (Day Air) has been offering Kasasa brand products for more than five years. The Kasasa Cash Checking’s initial 2.00% APY on qualifying balances up to $25k is still in effect. Qualifying balances of $25k+ earn 0.25% APY, with non-qualifying balances earning 0.02% APY.
The monthly qualifying requirements are straightforward and do not include a direct deposit or ACH transaction.

Annual Earnings of Combined Kasasa Cash Checking/Kasasa Saver Accounts
The potential combined annual earnings of the Kasasa Cash Checking (2.00% APY/$25k) and the Kasasa Saver (1.00% APY/$100k) is approximately $1,500 (1.20% APY/$125k), which is an unusually high rate for such a large balance.
Kasasa Cash Back
Day Air offers a Kasasa Cash Back account that earns 2.00% cash back on the first $500 in monthly debit card purchases (PIN and signature). If you are planning on maintaining a balance of less than $6,000, the Kasasa Cash Back account would probably be a better deal than the Kasasa Cash account, as the maximum annual earnings for the Kasasa Cash Back account is $120 ($10 per month).
